Abstract

The invention provides an automatic verification system and method for a pressure transmitter. The automatic verification system and method are used for automatically verifying indication errors and return stroke errors of the pressure transmitter. The system comprises a pressure pump, a stepping motor, a standard pressure gauge, a digital multimeter and a computer; the computer is used as a corecontrol unit, and according to an input set pressure value, the computer can control forward (reverse) rotation of the stepping motor by analyzing a difference value between the set pressure value anda current pressure value so as to increase (reduce) the pressure of the system to the set pressure value. The system pressure can be maintained within a certain error range through a certain closed-loop control algorithm, and then a reference pressure source is provided for the detected pressure transmitter. After the system pressure is stabilized, the computer reads the output current value of the pressure transmitter from the digital multimeter and records the verification data of each verification point according to the format required by the verification regulation.
