Problems solved by technology

At present, the exact role of monocytes / macrophages in cerebral ischemic injury is still unclear, and there are reports of protective effects, aggravation of damage or no effect (Schmidt et al., 2017), which may have more to do with related to different subgroups

[0033] In this study, 10-week-old male C57BL / 6 mice were purchased from the Animal Center of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and experiments were carried out within one week after arrival. The experimental animals were kept in an animal room with constant temperature (22±1°C) and regular light (12 hours during the day and 12 hours at night), and the experimental animals could freely obtain food and drinking water. The experimental design and process of experimental animals were strictly in accordance with the regulations of the National Institutes of Health on the care and use of experimental animals, and were approved by the Animal Experiment Committee.

[0034] The mice were weighed and injected intraperitoneally with 4% chloral hydrate (10 μL / g), fixed after anesthesia, and a suture (doccol, 602356) was inserted ...

Abstract

The invention discloses an application of a CD74 protein in preparation of a kit for identifying macrophage subsets in brains after ischemic injury. An inventor of the invention finds for the first time that the CD74 protein can distinguish macrophages into two subsets: CD74hi and CD74medium. The application is beneficial to further research on the functions of macrophages in ischemic brain tissues.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of biomedicine, and particularly relates to the application of CD74 protein in the preparation of a kit for identifying macrophage subgroups in the brain after ischemic injury. Background technique [0002] According to the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) data in 2016, stroke is the second leading cause of death and disability worldwide, with the highest incidence in East Asia (Gorelick, 2019). With the extension of the average life expectancy of our population and the aging of society, the disease burden of stroke in my country has exploded in the past 30 years, and the number of stroke patients over the age of 40 has exceeded 12 million (China Stroke Prevention Report 2018) . Stroke brings great physical and mental pain to individuals, and imposes a heavy economic burden on families and society. [0003] In recent years, with the in-depth understanding and research on the role of inflammation in cerebral ischemic in...
