Abstract

The invention relates to an avoidance system and method for a short plate effect of a battery pack. The battery pack comprises a plurality of electrically connected single batteries, and the avoidancesystem comprises a main control module, an information acquisition module, a bidirectional direct current conversion module and a power supply module. The power supply module provides direct currentelectric signals. The information acquisition module acquires parameter information of the single batteries and feeds back the parameter information to the main control module. The main control moduleanalyzes the parameter information and then judges the short board battery, outputs a first control signal when the battery pack is in a charging state and the short board battery is fully charged, and outputs a second control signal when the battery pack is in a discharging state and the short board battery is completely discharged. The bidirectional DC conversion module discharges the short board battery when receiving the first control signal, and charges the short board battery when receiving the second control signal. According to the avoidance system, the bidirectional direct-current conversion module is controlled by the main control module to correspondingly charge and discharge the short-plate battery, so that the charging and discharging of the whole battery pack are not influenced, and the endurance of the battery pack is improved.
