Embodiment Construction

[0071] now refer to figure 1 To further describe in detail the beverage dispenser 100 according to the present invention and the method of controlling the operation of the beverage dispenser and its operation. A beverage dispenser 100 according to the invention is connected to a water source 102 which may be mains water or a water tank. A pre-filter 104 such as an activated carbon filter is connected to the water source 102 . A pump 106 is connected between the pre-filter 104 and the reverse osmosis filter 108 . The pump 106 may pump water at high pressure, for example 8 to 20 bar, into the reverse osmosis filter 108, where the concentrate is discarded or drained, and the permeate is sent to the pump as further detailed below. in multiple beverage preparation elements.

[0072] These beverage preparation elements comprise a beverage tempering device 110 for tempering the beverage to a desired temperature (set temperature).

Abstract

The invention discloses a method of controlling operation of a beverage dispenser and a beverage dispenser. The method of controlling operation of the beverage dispenser includes the steps of selecting a water formulation from a plurality of water formulations, each water formulation defining a set concentration of minerals to be dissolved in water, and water being mineralized by adding minerals / ions through a mineralization device based on the water formulation; verifying whether a user is allowed to adjust a user-adjustable property of the water to be mineralized through the mineralization device according to the water recipe, wherein the user-adjustable property includes at least one of a set temperature of the water to be mineralized and a set carbonization of the water to be mineralized; preparing water through at least one water preparation element according to the user adjustable property; and outputting the mineralized water to a user container; if the user is allowed to adaptthe set temperature within a predetermined temperature range, activating a temperature user interface element on the display.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an intelligent beverage dispenser, which allows users to select beverages and adjust specific parameters of the beverages. Background technique [0002] Prior art beverage dispensers are capable of filtering, tempering and carbonizing water. Some beverage dispensers are capable of filtering and mineralizing water. [0003] DE 20 2010 006 679 U1 discloses a device for producing mineral water having a filter and at least one mineral container between the filter and an outlet. The apparatus further comprises a controller operable to control the feed of minerals from the at least one minerals containers. If the user's water consumption exceeds the daily limit for daily water consumption, the mineral feed is stopped or another specially formulated water is dispensed. [0004] WO 94 / 06547 A1 discloses a water purification and distribution apparatus comprising a water inlet for obtaining water from a supply source, a water ...
