The cooling system diagnosis method comprises a thermal management module used for controlling a cooling system, a single coolant temperature sensor for monitoring the temperature of a coolant and a warm air heat exchanger for heat exchange. The cooling system diagnosis method is a more simplified and more accurate diagnosisscheme developed based on the China standard requirement and based on the cooling system of the thermal management module (TMM). Compared with a diagnosis scheme of the single coolant temperature sensor, by the adoption of the cooling system diagnosis method, the result is more accurate, and the specific reason for judging the fault of the cooling system can be accurately judged; and compared withthe diagnosis scheme of a double-coolant temperature sensor, the cooling system diagnosis scheme is more simplified, and a thermostat is not required to be monitored for the temperature difference ofthe double-coolant temperature sensor. In this way, the diagnostic scheme provides the more simplified accurate cooling system diagnostic scheme for an engine using the thermal management module.
