Abstract

The invention discloses a rail settlement on-line monitoring method based on line detection, and the method comprises the steps: collecting a rail side image which comprises a high-precision calibrated scale, a rail side, a background part, and a projection straight line of the rail upper surface to the front surface; after an image is preprocessed, detecting the contour of a projection straight line through edges, fitting the projection straight line through Hough transform, obtaining a straight line function, and determining the settlement amount of a rail by comparing the distance between the front projection straight line and the rear projection straight line. The invention further discloses a railway track settlement monitoring device based on line detection. The railway track settlement monitoring device comprises an image acquisition device, an image processing device, a data transmission device, an assembly control module, a monitoring center, a state alarm and a high-precisioncalibrated scale which is fixed to the side face of a rail and used for establishing an absolute coordinate system.
