Abstract

Aiming at the design requirements of fast processing and efficient forwarding of the pending interest table, the present invention proposes a new structure of the pending interest table by improving the structure of the PIT, and further proposes the concept of "prefix value". Prefixes with high value in PIT, and information containing these prefixes can be preferentially queried and processed when interest packets enter and data packets return, thereby saving overall processing time and ensuring the efficient operation of the entire NDN router.
