Problems solved by technology

[0005] To sum up, the problems existing in the prior art are: the existing virtual data center embedding scheme does not fully consider the allocation of multiple types of resources, especially the embedding of virtual switches
Considering the current server computing power, it takes several hours to deal with small-scale resource allocation problems; in larger-scale cases, the calculation time is as long as several days or the result cannot be calculated

Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of resource optimal allocation, and discloses a virtual data center resource allocation system and method based on a virtual switch, and provides a real-time processing resource allocation model, a batch processing resource allocation model and corresponding solutions thereof. The method specifically comprises the following steps: creating a batch processing model, and converting the batch processing model into a real-time processing model by using a TAFB (Fast Transform Algorithm); creating a real-time processing model, and performing resource allocation by using a fast heuristic integer embedding algorithm (FHRE). Therefore, the suboptimal solution of the VDC embedding problem can be found in the polynomial time. According to the method, the income of a cloud provider can be maximized while it is ensured that an embedding solution is feasible within polynomial time. According to the algorithm provided by the invention, the acceptance rateof the VDC request is improved, the embedding cost of the virtual link is reduced, and the profit of InPs is greatly improved. The heuristic algorithm makes full use of the information of the relaxation solution, so that the calculation time is greatly reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of resource optimization allocation, and in particular relates to a virtual data center resource allocation system and method based on a virtual switch. Background technique [0002] Currently, the closest existing technology: VDC technology can separate virtual resources from physical resources, thus allowing multiple VDCs to run on the same physical data center (PDC). However, due to the limitation of the total amount of physical resources in a PDC, PDC providers (referred to as infrastructure providers, InPs) must carefully handle tenant requests. In order to reduce operating costs and gain more profits, InPs have to decide which VDC requests (VDCRs) to accept and allocate corresponding resources to these requests. This resource allocation problem is often referred to as the embedding problem. VDC embedding is considered as a key technology to provide performance guarantee for the success of non-cloud c...
