The offline detection system comprises a vehicle-mounted terminal and a detection platform, wherein a new energy bus is assembled for detection; the vehicle-mounted terminal scans a bus number bar code or a VIN bar code of a to-be-detected new energy bus and monitors the to-be-detected new energy bus in real time; the new energy bus is started and enabled to detour on a test run runway; the vehicle-mounted terminal transmits monitoring data of detouring of the new energy bus on the test run runway to the detection platform in real time; the detection platform detects and analyzes the received monitoring data of the new energy bus detouring on the test run runway; and if the monitoring data received by the detectionplatform when the new energy bus detours the test run runway is equal to a preset threshold value preset by the detection platform, full-automatic off-line detection work of the new energy bus is achieved, resources of all parts of a whole bus factory are coordinated, and smooth off-line of the bus is ensured.
