Abstract

The invention discloses a flexible DC current control method and device which is applicable to a flexible DC power transmission system. The method comprises the steps of acquiring a DC current of theflexible DC power transmission system when a DC grounding fault occurs in an overhead line in the flexible DC power transmission system; inputting the DC current and a preset target value to a PI controller, and generating a target voltage; adding the target voltage to a bridge arm modulation wave reference voltage of the modular multilevel converter; and generating a trigger signal of each powermodule in the modular multilevel converter according to the bridge arm modulation wave reference voltage so as to control a DC voltage output of the modular multilevel converter. The invention also discloses a flexible DC current control device. With the adoption of the method disclosed by the embodiment of the invention, the DC system can be effectively prevented from shunting and stopping afterthe DC fault occurs in the overhead line in the flexible DC power transmission system, and the power sending capability can be rapidly recovered.
