Abstract

The invention provides a daily ration formula for beef cattle fattening with silage sorghum addition and application of the formula. According to the present invention, the ideal fattening effect of beef cattle can be achieved, the comprehensive utilization efficiency of sweet sorghum is improved, and the feeding cost is reduced, by scientifically allocating the daily ration formula with sweet sorghum in the cattle feeding process, scientifically screening premix and concentrate supplement, optimizing and obtaining the best scheme of the daily ration formula for beef cattle fattening, and formulating scientific and reasonable management regulations for cattle feeding with sweet sorghum at the same time. The daily ration formula of the invention is used to feed Simmental cattle, and the test results show that the group of 50% silage sorghum + 50 silage whole plant corn has the best daily weight gain and the highest efficiency of feed conversion, and the daily weight gain is 1.74 kg; andthe slaughter performance of 50% silage sorghum + 50 silage whole plant corn is higher, the slaughter rate is 57%, and the highest digestibility is 59.22%. The results indicate that the meat yield ofbeef cattle can be improved by replacing part of silage whole plant corn with silage sorghum.
