The data query method comprises the following steps: receiving a query request,wherein the query request comprises an identifier of a target data source and an identifier of a first dimension; according to the configuration information stored in the server, determining an identifier of a target data table associated with the identifier of the target data source and associated with the identifier of the first dimension, and a second dimension associated with the first dimension, wherein the first dimension does not belong to the dimension in the target data table, and the second dimension belongs to the dimension in the target data table; according to the identifier and the second dimension of the target data table, generating an SQL instruction, obtaining a target query result from the target data table by utilizing the SQL instruction; and sending the target query result to the terminal device. The data table can be conveniently queried on the premise that the first dimension does not belong to the data table, the data table does not need to be modified as in the prior art, the operation process is simplified, and manpower can be saved.
