Abstract

The load balancing system comprises at least two gateways which are communicated with each other, wherein each gateway comprises a memory and a controller; an instruction is stored in the memory, and the instruction executes the following steps under the control of the controller: one gateway is determined as a control node; the control node determines the information of intelligent terminals connected with the intelligent terminals on all gateways, and the information of the intelligent terminals comprises the types of the intelligent terminals, media access control (MAC) interfaces and interface numbers; the control node allocates all intelligent terminals needing to be processed according to the load capacity of the gateway; and the gateway acquires and processes the intelligent terminal data which is connected to other gateways and needs to be processed through link layer unvarnished transmission. Compared with the prior art, on the basis of an original network structure, the load balancing system concentrates and redistributes operation tasks of the loads on the gateways, guarantees that surplus hardware resources ofthe gateways can be distributed to other intelligent terminals in time, and meanwhile does not need to add extra physical lines.
