Abstract

The method for track circuit fault inspection comprises the steps of providing power signals of different frequencies for adjacent two sets of track circuit sections, transmitting the power signals through the track circuit sections to generate track circuit section signals, receiving the track circuit section signals and performing judgment and processing of the track circuit section signals. The judgment and processing comprise inspection of frequencies and amplitudes of the received track circuit section signals, and the inspection result can be used for judging a track circuit fault condition. The method for track circuit fault inspection can overcome the deficiencies of insulation damage protection of a 25 Hz phase sensitive track circuit, thereby comprehensively achieving the function of insulation damage protection and further improving the train running safety. The method has a feedback inspection function, thereby enhancing the maintainability of the system, and facilitating early finding of troubles and fault location.
