Abstract

The method uses cocoon shells of a natural sericin silkworm variety as a material to prepare the sericin stock solution, and evenly mix the natural sericin stock solution with a soap base for injection molding to obtain the facial cleaning soap. In a preparation process of the soap base, a mixed alkali lye of sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide is used as a hydrolytic alkali lye, and a mixture of coconut oil and olive oil is hydrolyzed to obtain a mixture of sodium fatty acid and potassium fatty acid. The potassium fatty acid has an excellent foaming effect and is resistant to hard water, but the potassium fatty acid is soft or even liquid. Sodium palmitate and sodium stearate has poor foaming properties but has an excellent cleaning effect in warm water. Therefore, the potassium fatty acid is combined with the sodium palmitate and the sodium stearate, which ensures the strength of the soap and greatly improves the cleaning effect. Moreover, the sodium palmitate and the sodium stearate have low solubility in cold water, which can ensure that the formed soap is not prone to deformation in humid environment.
