Abstract

The system comprises an area dividing module which is usedfor carrying out area dividing on a whole power transmission line and coding each area; a data collecting module, wherein each area at least comprises first data collecting devices located at transformer substations at one ends of power lines in the area and second data collecting devices located at transformer substations at the other ends of the transmission lines in the area and the first datacollecting devices and the second data collecting devices are communicated via Ethernet; and a data analyzing module which is used for analyzing traveling wave signals of the power lines, which are collected by the first data collecting devices and the second data collecting devices, and respectively obtaining the time when the traveling wave signals reach the first data collecting devices and thesecond data collecting devices.
