When an unpolished rice grain falls down, the grain passing is detected by the photoelectric sensor; a perfect grain or imperfectgrain signal is sent according to an image processing system; the drive motor is controlled to make forward or reverse rotation at the 90 degrees, wherein the rotation angle is controlled by the position code disc; and the unpolished rice grain is transferred to the metering cup by rotation of the flip dialing piece, thereby achieving an objective of classifying perfect grains and imperfect grains into different metering cups. According to the invention, the device is used for appearance inspection and mass evaluation of rice; classification is performed based on graphic features of the perfect grains and imperfect grains according to the standard requirements; and then the perfect grains and imperfect grains are weighed and metered and mass fractions of the perfect grains and the imperfect grains are calculated to carry out level evaluation.
