Abstract

In the embodiment of the invention, an active organic light emitting diode OLED display device includes a light emitting module and a circular polarizer arranged on the light output side of the light emitting module.An organic light emitting layer in the light emitting module includes a polymer organic light emitting chromophore and a helical liquid crystal. The polymer organic light emitting chromophore is usedfor generating first linearly polarized light. The helical liquid crystal is used for converting the generated first linearly polarized light into circularly polarized light. The circular polarizer includes a phase difference compensation film and a polarizer layer. The phase difference compensation film is used for converting the circularly polarized light into second linearly polarized light. The light transmission direction of the polarizer layer is consistent with the vibration direction of the second linearly polarized light, and the polarizer layer is used for transmitting the second linearly polarized light out. The first linearly polarized light generated by the organic light emitting layer can be transmitted out completely, and thus, the luminous efficiency of the light emittinglayer is improved.
