Problems solved by technology

However, in the bistatic MIMO radar, the azimuth angles of each target relative to the transmitting array and the receiving array are different, and the manifold matrix of the virtual array is the Khatri-Rao product of the manifold matrix of the transmitting array and the receiving array, so the bistatic MIMO The covariance matrix of the radar virtual array is a block Toeplitz matrix rather than a Toeplitz matrix, so the differential processing technology is not suitable for the angle estimation problem of the bistatic MIMO radar with element failure

Embodiment Construction

[0029] Below in conjunction with accompanying drawing, technical scheme of the present invention is described in further detail:

[0030] The faulty elements in the bistatic MIMO radar transceiver array make the received data of the virtual array lack continuously in the row direction, and make the covariance matrix of the virtual array appear continuous missing data in the row and column directions, which leads to the target based on the covariance matrix Angle estimation performance degrades or even fails. Therefore, the present invention provides a method for estimating the angle of an array element fault MIMO radar based on block Hankel matrix filling. This method first uses the column vectors of the virtual array covariance matrix to construct a matrix with a double Hankel structure, and uses the matrix formed by each column vector as a sub-matrix to form a block Hankel matrix with a quadruple Hankel (4-fold Hankel) structure , so that each row and column of the construc...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for estimating the angle of MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) radar with array element faults based on block Hankel matrix completion. According to the method, firstly, a matrix with a 2-fold Hankel structure is constructed by using column vectors of a virtual array covariance matrix, a block Hankel matrix with a 4-fold Hankel structure is constructed by takinga matrix formed by column vectors as a sub-matrix for enabling each row and each column of the constructed block Hankel matrix to have sampling elements and meet the low-rank property, and missing data in the block Hankel matrix is completed by utilizing matrix completion; then, the corresponding redundant elements are averaged in the recovered block Hankel matrix; and finally, inverse transformation is carried out on the block Hankel matrix without data missing to obtain a complete virtual array covariance matrix, and the DOD (Direction of departure) and DOA (Direction of arrival) of a target are estimated by adopting an array covariance matrix-based algorithm (such as an ESPRIT algorithm). According to the method, a large amount of missing data in the covariance matrix of the MIMO radarvirtual array with the array element faults can be effectively recovered, and the angle estimation performance when the array element faults are transmitted or received is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of radar angle estimation, in particular to an array element failure MIMO radar angle estimation method based on block Hankel matrix filling. Background technique [0002] MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) radar is a new radar system developed in recent years. The radar uses multiple antennas at the transmitting end to transmit orthogonal signals to detect targets, and conducts Matched filter processing forms a large number of virtual array elements to expand the array aperture, thereby increasing the degree of freedom of radar observation of targets and improving the performance of target parameter estimation. Compared with traditional phased array radar, MIMO radar has significant advantages in target detection and parameter estimation, flexibility in detection waveform design, anti-intercept and interference suppression. According to the configuration of the transceiver array, MIMO radar can be divided into st...
