The system comprises a platform, a transmission network, a terminal and a pass back network.The platform comprises a platform control module, a test audio file generation module, a transmission module, a platform communication module, and a first audio to text module. The terminal comprisesa terminal control module, a receiving module, an interface module, a play module, an audio acquisition module, a second audio to text module and a terminal communication module. The platform sends atest audio file to the terminal via the transmission network, and converts the test audio file into a test text file. The terminal plays the test audio file, and simultaneously collects broadcast voices in real time to generate a listening audio file, and converts the listening audio file into a listening text file. The listening text file is sent to the platform via the pass back network. The platform compares the consistency of the listening text file and the test text file. If the listening text file and the test text file are consistent, audio broadcast self-check is normal. By using the emergency broadcast system for realizing the audio broadcast self-check function, maintenance cost is reduced.
