The method comprises the steps that the detected gas selectively enters hollow-core photonic bandgap-photonic crystal fibers; a laser light source emits a laser into the hollow-core photonic bandgap-photonic crystal fibers to obtain signal light, and an erbium-doped fiber amplifier amplifies the signal light; and a semiconductor photodetector receives the amplified signal light, and an analysis system calculates the gas concentration according to the amplified signal light andtransmits the gas concentration to a monitoring terminal.
