Abstract

The invention relates to a Compton scattering experiment simulation system and method. The c Compton scattering experiment simulation system comprises a worktable, a multichannel analyzer, a PC (personal computer) and a worktable control device, wherein the worktable is provided with a simulative radioactive source shielding chamber, a scattering sample bearing unit, a rotator and a simulative nuclear probe, which are sequentially arranged on the same horizontal line; the simulative nuclear probe is electrically connected with the multichannel analyzer, and a lead brick is arranged between thesimulative radioactive source shielding chamber and the scattering sample bearing unit; the scattering sample bearing unit is mounted at one end of the rotator, the simulative nuclear probe is mounted at the other end of the rotator, and the end of the rotator where the scattering sample bearing unit is mounted is coupled to the worktable through the rotating shaft of the rotator; the opposite side walls of the simulative radioactive source shielding chamber and the scattering sample bearing unit are provided with a 137Cs emitting hole and a 60Co emitting hole respectively, and the scatteringsample bearing unit is provided with a scattering sample inserting hole for placing a scattering sample. The Compton scattering experiment simulation system solves the problem of radiation of nuclearradioactive sources, achieves nuclear radiation-free simulative effects and is high in the simulative effects.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of nuclear physics experiment simulation, and relates to a scattering experiment simulation technology, in particular to a Compton scattering experiment simulation system and a simulation method. Background technique [0002] The Compton scattering experiment is a very important nuclear physics experiment project. It mainly obtains the scattering energy spectrum at different scattering angles through experiments, and verifies the relationship between the scattered photon energy of Compton scattering and the scattering angle, and the differential scattering cross section and the scattering angle. This experimental project experimentally proved that photons have momentum, which is a milestone experiment in the history of modern physics development. Since the wavelength change of Compton scattering is only determined by the scattering angle, it has nothing to do with the wavelength of the incident wave. For a c...
