The method comprises the following steps: 1) through face-to-face interview, adopting Hamilton Scale and Space Scale to test the patients with post-stroke depression, and judging the degree of depression and the type of outdoor space they like; 2) Through telephone interview, testing the favorite outdoor space type and space elements of the patient by the space scale; 3) carrying out reliability inspection and depth analysis based on the data collected in the preceding two steps, and by means of factor analysis, determining the most influential and well-defined factors in the design of quiet environment which can promote the recovery of patients with post-stroke depression; 4) adding the spatial factors accordingto the analysis into the designed VR scene, and recording the changes of emotion before and after the VR scene.
