A method and system for conformance testing of a new air interface technology (5G NR) terminal of a fifth generation mobile communication is disclosed. Based on the host computer and the system simulator, the protocol conformance testing can be carried out at the media access layer, the radio link control layer, the packet data convergence protocol layer and the radio resource control layer of theterminal to be tested respectively, which is helpful to optimize the testing process and promote the development and perfection of the 5G NR terminal.
