Through receiving a first accessing request which is transmitted by a first user through a first client, related data of atitle selecting interface are transmitted to the first client. Then first configuration information which is transmitted by the first client is received. According to the first configuration information, a selected evaluation problem is extracted from an evaluation problem database. The evaluation problem is inserted into a preset evaluation questionnaire template for combining and generating an evaluation questionnaire. The evaluation questionnaire is used for evaluating capability of an evaluated person. The capability evaluating method and the equipment thereof can realize automatic generation of the evaluation questionnaire which satisfies an evaluation requirement. Compared with a traditional method that developing personnel perform single artificial code programming, the method according to the invention can improve developing efficiency of the evaluation questionnaire, thereby satisfying a requirement for evaluating the actual service with frequent requirement change.
