Abstract

The invention provides a de-centralization root domain name service method and system based on a block chain. The method comprises steps: a block chain-based de-centralization root domain name servicesystem is set, wherein the block chain-based de-centralization root domain name service system comprises N local subsystems and an alliance chain, each local subsystem at least comprises M clients, alocal server cluster and a local root server, and the local server cluster comprises S servers, and the alliance chain comprises a local root server in each local subsystem; in any local subsystem, atop-level domain name change process is executed among any client, the local root server and the alliance chain; a domain name resolution process is executed among any client, the local server cluster and the local root server; and a root server key change process is executed between the local root server and the alliance chain. Thus, the independence of network sovereignty in different countriescan thus be realized without depending on a centralized network node (server), and an autonomous, controllable, equal and interconnected network world is realized.
