The friction assembly comprises a first friction element and a second friction element. The first friction element and the second friction element are arranged in a mutually contacting manner. Material of the first friction element comprises silicon dioxide. Material of the second friction element comprises metal. Additionally, the silicon dioxide and the metal are arranged in a directly contacting manner. The accommodating chamber is vacuumized. The accommodating chamber is filled with carbon dioxide. The first frictionelement rubs against the second friction element in order to generate near-infrared light.
