Abstract

The invention discloses a method for determining the plant leaf area based on Photoshop software. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a leaf image by using a scanner and determining the plant leaf area by using the Photoshop image processing software. The method disclosed by the invention has the benefits that the leaf image is acquired by using the scanner so as not to be influenced by an external environment; the image is clear, adopts 1:1 reduction and is free from deformation; and as the plant leaf area is determined by using the Photoshop image processing software, manualdata recording and measurement result calculation are not required in the process, and a program is used for automatic measurement according to the set measurement ratio. The method is simple and quick, the amount of information is large, the measured data includes four indexes: leaf area, perimeter, height and width and is not influenced by leaf shape, size, color, thickness and exterior, and measurement results are accurate; and the method is rigorous in science, low in cost, widely applicable to the determination of the areas of various plant leaves and wide in application prospect.
