The method comprises steps: a drilling well logging curve of a target layer series is acquired; according to thedrilling well logging curve, logging facies characteristics of the distributary channel are determined; according to the logging facies characteristics, the position of the distributary channel is marked on a seismic profile, and seismic facies characteristics of the distributary channel are obtained; seismic waveform inversion is carried out based on the logging curve, and the position of the distributary channel in the target layer series is obtained; according to the seismic facies characteristics, fine structure explanation is carried out on the target layer series to recover and obtain micro-palaeogeomorphology; and based on the seismic facies characteristics, the position of the distributary channel obtained through inversion and the micro-palaeogeomorphology, distribution of the distributary channel in the target layer series is obtained.
