Abstract

The invention discloses a complementing method of POI information. The complementing method comprises the steps of firstly obtaining a to-be-supplemented POI data set P_S, and a POI data set P_D whichhas the same description space range and is used for supplementing information; comparing various attribute fields of the P_S and the P_D, and associating the fields with the same description contentand the same category; newly establishing an empty list to be used for storing a POI data set P_N to which information is supplemented; setting a geographic coordinate system of the P_N and unifyingcoordinates of the P_S and the P_D to the coordinate system; establishing a spatial grid index of the P_S under a new geographic coordinate system; processing POIs in the P_D sequentially, and using the content of the POIs to be merged with data in the P_S; finally linking each piece of POI of the P_N to source data of the POIs. By means of the complementing method of the POI information, initialdata is complemented and updated in the mode of merging POI sets obtained from different sources, keywords of the newly-added content are stored, and the probability that the data is subjected to fuzzy query is increased. Meanwhile, the complemented POI data is associated with the original POI, and when the data is continuously updated, the source data can provide sample data for excluding error information.
