Embodiments of the invention provide a method and device for testing resolution ratios of fingerprint acquisition equipment. The method comprises the following steps of: obtaining an image of an optical test card acquired by to-be-tested fingerprint acquisition equipment and dividing stripes of the image into four quadrants, wherein the stripes of the first quadrant and the second quadrant are used for testing a first resolution ratio and the stripes of the third quadrant and the fourth quadrant are used for testing a second resolution ratio; respectively acquiring a preset number of first image features in the first quadrant and the second quadrant in the image, inputting the acquired first image features into a first classifier, and outputting a result by the first classifier to expresswhether a resolution ratio of the to-be-tested fingerprint acquisition equipment satisfies the first resolution ratio or not; and respectively acquiring a preset number of second image features in thethird quadrant and the fourth quadrant in the image, inputting the acquired second image features into a second classifier, and outputting a result by the second classifier to express whether the resolution ratio of the to-be-tested fingerprint acquisition equipment satisfies the second resolution ratio or not.
