Abstract

The invention discloses a leather fungicide and a preparation method thereof. The leather fungicide is prepared from raw materials in percentage by mass as follows: 1%-20% of propiconazole, 1%-25% ofsodium pyrithione, 1%-15% of iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, 1%-10% of an emulsifier and the balance of a solvent. The preparation method of the leather fungicide is quite simple, and all that is required is to mix the materials sufficiently and uniformly. The leather fungicide contains three active components including propiconazole, sodium pyrithione and iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, and the three active components have different antimicrobial active groups, so that the antimicrobial spectrum of the leather fungicide is greatly expanded; besides, the three active components have obvious synergistic interaction effect, therefore, growth of diversified mould groups on wet blue leather is inhibited, and the common problem of drug resistance of the existing leather fungicide is solved.
