Benefits of technology

This patented technology allows for accurate determination of the location where frequencies are searched within an area without relying solely upon past locations or any other prior knowledge about them. It also automatically adjusts its searching width based on factors like noise levels and distance from neighboring devices. Overall, this technology improves efficiency while reducing costs associated therewith.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical problem addressed by this patents relates to improving the performance of rotational machines during varying speeds due to their complex work environments that require accurate and precise measurement techniques such as constant rate rotation or periodic operation. One step costs functions are currently available only after all preceding steps have been completed (one-step). However, these methods may result in delayed response times when searching for specific areas within the current bandwidth limiting its effectiveness.

Embodiment Construction

[0056] Examples such as figure 1 As shown, the instantaneous frequency estimation method based on Roberts operator and t test includes the following steps:

[0057] Step 1: Use the short-time Fourier transform algorithm to convert the signal x(k) (k=1, 2, ..., N) into a time-spectrogram, where N represents the length of the signal;

[0058] Step 2: Select a local area with a high signal-to-noise ratio from the time-spectrogram, and use the Roberts detection algorithm to convert the local area into a binary image. The binary image contains multiple ridge bands; a local area refers to at least two Ridge bands, the area where the signal-to-noise ratio is greater than 80dB;

[0059] Step 3: Use the t-test algorithm to exclude outliers at the upper and lower edges of each ridge band;

[0060] Step 4: Superimpose the above-mentioned multiple ridges on one of the ridges with the most complete outline according to the kinematic proportional relationship between them to construct a syn...

Abstract

The present invention discloses an instantaneous frequency estimation method based on the Roberts operator and the t test. The method employs the short-time Fourier transform to convert original signals to a time-frequency spectrogram, employs the Roberts detection algorithm to obtain multi-strip ridge bands, employs the t test to eliminate the abnormal value of each ridge band, employs overlapping to construct a compound ridge band having a complete and clear edge, employs the t test to eliminate the abnormal value of the compound ridge band, calculates the mean curve of the compound ridge band, perform smooth processing of the mean curve, calculate a confidence interval, above the 95% confidence level, of the smooth mean curve and map the smooth mean curve and the confidence interval thereof to a target ridge to obtain the reference line and a local search interval of the target ridge, and employs a non-delayed cost function to extract the target ridge. The instantaneous frequency estimation method based on the Prewitt operators and the t test is suitable for estimation of instantaneous frequency of multi-component frequency conversion signals so as to overcome defects in the instantaneous frequency estimation of mechanical vibration signals of a traditional method, improve the accuracy and the precision of the estimation result and facilitate engineering application.
