Abstract

The invention discloses an engine cooling system which comprises a cooling loop provided with a supercharging cooler and a main water pump, and further comprises a reserve pump connected with the supercharging cooler in series; and the reserve pump works to pump a coolant in a pipeline into the supercharging cooler when an engine undergoes emergency stop and the engine cooling system reaches a first preset condition, and the reserve pump stops when the engine cooling system reaches a second preset condition. With the application of the engine cooling system, by adopting of the reserve pump, even if the emergency stop is carried out in a thermal engine state, no component failure caused by overheating in a supercharger can be caused, so that normal cooling of the engine cooling system is ensured. The invention further discloses a vehicle comprising the engine cooling system.
