The method comprises the following steps: constructing a bench testing environment for a battery, the temperature of the bench testing environment being higher than the room temperature; obtaining a proportional relationship between the number of cycles and the number of charging and discharging tests in road tests under the bench testing environment; performing the bench tests on the first cycle times according to the cycle condition until the total discharged power amount reaches the first target energy wherein the first target energy is the total energy consumed by the driving of a first target kilometer of a vehicle in the road tests; according to the proportional relationship and the first cycle times, obtaining the number of charging and discharging times required for driving the first target kilometer in the road tests; and obtaining the cycle life of the battery by the number of charging and discharging times required for the vehicle to drive the first target kilometer in the road tests.
