[0070] research population

[0071] Ovarian cancer cases were women with primary epithelial ovarian cancer aged 25-85 years old who were diagnosed by histological diagnosis in Tianjin Medical University Cancer Hospital from 2007 to 2013 (all of them were Han Chinese). Cases with a history of cancer treatment or blood transfusion 6 months before diagnosis were excluded. The blood samples of the case group were collected in the operating room, and blood counts and coagulation factor values were obtained by blood routine and coagulation tests, and these were all performed within one week before the operation. The control group consisted of tumor-fre...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for cancer diagnosis and/or cancer risk hazard degree assessment in subjects. The method comprises the following steps: a) determining DNA methylation states of samples from the subjects and samples from a healthy control group on at least one DNA methylation site; b) comparing the DNA methylation states of the samples from the subjects at the DNA methylation site with the DNA methylation states of the samples from the healthy control group at the corresponding DNA methylation site; and if the methylation states of the samples from the subjects and the samples from the healthy control group have remarkable difference, showing that the subjects have cancers or have cancer risks. The invention further provides a kit for the method provided by the invention.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a method for cancer diagnosis and / or cancer risk assessment in a subject and a kit thereof. Background technique [0002] Ovarian cancer is the deadliest gynecological tumor worldwide (1) ((1) is the reference number, the same below). There are two main reasons for the high fatality rate: lack of early detection means and chemotherapy resistance (2). Although initial chemotherapy is effective in ovarian cancer patients, approximately 25% of patients develop chemotherapy resistance within six months (3). In-depth studies of tumor tissues have revealed diverse genetic and epigenetic changes in the development and progression of ovarian cancer. Discovering effective markers for early detection, especially in blood, is urgently needed to improve the prognosis of ovarian cancer. [0003] Lysis of tumor cells is known to release DNA fragments (cfDNA, cell-free DNA) and other molecules such as miRNAs and cytokines into the ...
