Abstract

With the method and system, young parents lack of parenting experience can find out crying causes of infants accurately. The method comprises: a baby crying sound is recorded and a crying audio signal is obtained; a time-frequency characteristic is extracted from the crying audio signal, and probabilities, corresponding to preset different crying causes, of the time-frequency characteristic are obtained according to the time-frequency characteristic and a classified obtained by training in advance; and at least two kinds of crying causes with the highest probabilities and probabilities of the crying causes are displayed at a terminal screen.
