Abstract

The invention discloses a tenant dividing method in an SDN network, a device and an SDN network system. The method comprises steps of receiving a virtual machine creating request sent by a tenant, creating a virtual machine and distributing tenant identification according to tenant information contained in the virtual machine creating request, and informing a corresponding relationship between the virtual machine and the tenant identification to a software-defined network (SDN) controller to enable the SDN controller to manage the corresponding relationship between the virtual machine and the tenant identification. The tenant identification can be carried and interacted via OpenFlow message. In the provided method, device and system, tenant identification of any digits can be introduced; the controller can directly differentiate tenants via the tenant identification, so simplicity and effectiveness can be achieved, and demands of multi-tenants in a large-scale cloud data center can be met; the tenant information is carried via OpenFlow expansion messages and expansion fields, so a problem of tenant net overlapping due to flow space division can be reduced; and a flexible and high-efficient tenant network dividing method is achieved.
