The optimization method comprises the steps of when it is determined that the closing time of a target interconnection switch in the topological structure of the current power distribution network is less than a preset time threshold value, closing the target interconnection switch to form a loop; disconnecting a target section switch in the loop; determining a target function value after the target section switch is disconnected; traversing each section switch in the closed loop and obtaining a minimum target function value; when the minimum target function value is smaller than an initial target function value, performing interchange between the section switch in the closed loop corresponding to the minimum target function value and the target interconnection switch; taking any one interconnection switch except the target interconnection switch in the topological structure of the current power distribution network as a new target interconnection switch, and returning to perform the step of closing the target interconnection switch; and when it is determined that the preset traversing time is completed, obtaining the optimal topological structure of the power distribution network.
