Abstract

The invention discloses a power supply nipple and an LWD (Logging While Drilling) instrument. The power supply nipple comprises: a cylindrical housing, a battery skeleton, a battery, a turbine generator, a control unit, an upper flow passage converter and a lower flow passage converter, wherein the battery skeleton is mounted on the inner side wall face of the housing; a closed cavity is formed in a surrounding mode between the outer side wall face of the battery skeleton and the inner side wall face of the housing; the cavity is also filled with a medium for protecting the battery; a mud flow passage is formed in a surrounding mode between the inner side wall face of the battery skeleton and the inner side wall face of the housing outside the battery skeleton; the battery is mounted in the cavity; the turbine generator is mounted in the housing; a working flow passage inside the turbine generator is communicated with the mud flow passage; the control unit is mounted on the housing and is electrically connected with the battery and the turbine generator; the upper flow passage converter is mounted at the upper end of the housing and is communicated with the mud flow passage; the lower flow passage converter is mounted at the lower end of the housing and is communicated with the mud flow passage.
