The method comprises the steps that (1) connecting and positioning adjusting devices are manufactured; (2) subgrade boxes are manufactured to erect a splitting and assembling platform; (3) the large-scale crane beams are manufactured section by section and then pre-assembled, setting-out is conducted to determine the positions of the connecting and positioning adjusting devices, and one pair of the connecting and positioning adjusting devices is welded to each side of the butt-joint position of every two adjacent webs; (4) operation pits for splitting construction are dug in the member splitting positions of a hoisting site; (5) the splitting and assembling platform is erected; and (6) on-site splitting is conducted. According to the method, the assembling adjusting devices are easy to manufacture, high in turnover rate, high in control precision, easy and convenient to install and operate and high in applicability; members are welded through the front sides, the double sides of the members are formed at a time, weld joints in the back sides are fully-formed, and welding traces are orderly; and the construction period is short, labor is saved, the construction period is shortened, and the construction cost is reduced.
