Abstract

An embodiment of the invention discloses a redirecting method and a redirecting device. The redirecting method comprises the steps that: switching equipment modifies a current VLAN of an access port which receives an access request from a preset VLAN into a universal VLAN if user equipment which sends the access request does not pass authentication; a temporary virtual interface IP address is assigned to the universal VLAN, wherein the temporary virtual interface IP address and a virtual interface IP address of the preset VLAN are positioned in the same network segment; and the access request is redirected by means of the temporary virtual interface IP address, so that the user equipment obtains an EAD client. Therefore, the redirection of the HTTP access request is realized through assigning the temporary virtual interface IP address to the universal VLAN after the switching equipment modifies the current VLAN from the preset VLAN into the universal VLAN, thereby avoiding manual configuration of the virtual interface IP address of the universal VLAN for all access ports, reducing manual configuration workload, and improving rapid deployment efficiency of EAD.
