Abstract

The composition comprises vitamin C, vitamin E and R-(+)-lipoic acid, wherein the mass ratio of vitamin C to vitamin E to R-(+)-lipoic acid is 1: (1-3): (1-12). The invention also provides application of the composition for inhibiting free radical oxidation damage of biological cells in non-treatment purpose. According to the composition for inhibiting oxidative damage of biological cells provided by the invention, due to the synergistic effect among the vitamin C, vitamin E and R-(+)-lipoic acid, the composition is capable of improving the antioxidant effect and can be used for inhibiting free radical oxidation damage of biological cells in non-treatment purpose. Specifically, the composition has an antioxidant protection effect for porcine skeletal muscle satellite cells and can achieve an effect of reducing oxidative stress of porcine skeletal muscle satellite cells.
