Abstract

The construction method includes the following steps that (1) a roadbed is constructed in a filling mode to the designed height of the top of the circular culvert; (2) the roadbed and a foundation are excavated to the designed elevation of a base of the circular culvert; (3) the base of the circular culvert is poured and maintained; (4) a prefabricated circular culvert body is mounted, a crescent-shaped soil arch guiding cushion layer made of elastoplastic materials is arranged at the top of the circular culvert body, and the two ends of the soil arch guiding cushion layer extend to the two ends in the horizontal outer diameter direction of the circular culvert body correspondingly; (5) the roadbed around the circular culvert is filled in a layered mode and manually tamped; and (6) a soil layer at the top of the circular culvert is rolled in a layered mode, and the roadbed is constructed in a filling mode to the designed elevation.
