The invention provides a liquid detergent which comprises, by weight, 2-4 parts of sodium xylene sulfonate, 1-2 parts of dodecyldimethylamine oxide, 10-20 parts of dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid, 2-4 parts of normal primary alcohol ethoxylate, 9-15 parts of nonylphenol polyoxyethylene ether, 10-15 parts of sodium laurylsulfate, 0.5-1.5 parts of ethylene glycol monostearate, 1-3 parts of lauric monoethanolamide, 5-7 parts of glycerinum, 5-7 parts of vitamin E, and 50-60 parts of water. The liquid detergent is prepared from scientific and reasonable ingredients which are all non-toxic mild substances having no toxic or side effect to human bodies.
