Problems solved by technology

[0004] However, the research on the low temperature stress signaling pathway of Hevea brasiliensis is still in its infancy
Up to now, most of the genes including HbICE1 in the above signaling pathways have not been cloned or identified, which has become a bottleneck in the research on the mechanism of rubber cold resistance

Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of plant genetic engineering, and relates to a rubber tree cold-resistant key gene HbICE1 and protein, and an application thereof in improving plant cold-resistant ability. The present invention clones and obtains a gene HbICE1 related to the cold resistance of the rubber tree. The CDS sequence of the gene is shown in the sequence SEQ ID NO.1, and its protein sequence is shown in the sequence table SEQ ID NO.2. Genetic transformation shows that the gene can improve the cold-resistant performance of Arabidopsis thaliana, and can be used in the breeding and genetic improvement of rubber tree cold-resistant varieties, providing a new gene resource for rubber trees.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of plant genetic engineering, in particular to a rubber tree cold-resistant gene HbICE1 and protein, and its application in improving the cold-resistant ability of rubber trees. Background technique [0002] Hevea brasiliensis (Willd.exA.Juss.) Muell. is the main source of natural rubber. It is not only the most important characteristic economic crop in Hainan Province, but also an important strategic resource in my country. Hevea brasiliensis is native to the Amazon forest. It is a perennial deciduous tree. It is a typical tropical rainforest tree species. It grows well in the environment of high temperature, high humidity, calm wind and fertile soil, but it is very sensitive to low temperature and is not cold-resistant (PriyadarshanPM.Contributionsofweathervariablesforspecificadaptationofrubbertree( Heveabrasiliensis (Muell.-Arg) clones [J]. Genet Mol Biol, 2003, 26 (4): 435-440.). At present, the world's major rub...
