Abstract

The invention discloses a key-frame animation generation apparatus. The key-frame animation generation apparatus comprises an acquisition module, a scaling-down module, and an interpolation module. The acquisition module is used for acquiring a non-linear time interpolator model between two adjacent key frames when a key-frame animation generation instruction is received. The scaling-down module is used for scaling down the acquired non-linear time interpolator model according to a preset specific value so as to obtain the time interpolator model associated with two adjacent key frames. The interpolation module is used for performing interpolation on the two adjacent key frames according to the associated time interpolator model so as to generate the key-frame animation. The invention also discloses a key-frame animation generation method. Through adoption of the key-frame animation generation apparatus and method, the key-frame position animation does not jump and is continuous when the non-linear interpolator is set in a plurality of key frames of the key-frame animation, so that the smoothness of the key-frame animation is improved.
