Problems solved by technology

The defect of this design is that when the difference in contact resistance between the sensor and the circuit under test causes the current density distribution at the conductor current input end to be uneven, the magnetic field generated by the current will also be uneven, thereby affecting the accuracy of the sensor

Abstract

The invention discloses a single-chip current sensor. Detected currents are detected according to the intensity of magnetic induction generated by the detected currents. The single-chip current sensor comprises a conductor, a first magnetic sensor and a second magnetic sensor which are integrated on the same chip. The conductor is used for providing a flow channel for the detected currents to enable the detected currents to flow through the conductor; the first magnetic sensor and the second magnetic sensor are disposed around the conductor so as to form differential output; and a convergent segment with a narrowing width exists on the conductor. Compared to the prior art, the single-chip current sensor can eliminate external magnetic field interference, improves the performance stability and the sensitivity and can also reduce or eliminate measurement errors caused by contact resistance differences between the sensors and a circuit to be detected.

Description

【Technical field】 [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of current sensors, in particular to a single-chip current sensor. 【Background technique】 [0002] Current sensors for measuring the magnitude of current are widely used in various electronic devices. A traditional current sensor obtains the magnitude of the current in the circuit by measuring the voltage across a resistor connected in series in the circuit. However, this method consumes a lot of power consumption, and the resistance value drifts with temperature, which will cause measurement errors. [0003] Another traditional current sensor needs to pass the wire through which the current flows through a magnetic gathering structure (usually a ring-shaped magnetic gathering structure made of soft magnetic material), and then measure the magnetic field by a built-in magnetic sensor. This method has defects such as large volume and inconvenient use. [0004] Another type of current sensor makes the mea...
