Abstract

The invention relates to a method for controlling a drive (40) of a vehicle with at least one first axle which is occupied by at least one wheel. A drive torque (16) is specified by a driver of the vehicle, and the first axle is driven by means of a first electric machine (12) dependent on the drive torque (16). A second electric machine (26) which is coupled to at least one internal combustion engine (30) provides electric energy for the purpose of driving the first axle by means of the first electric machine (12).
