[0024] figure 1 A user configurable pre-cut kinesiology taping strip 10 is shown. The strip consists of a strip of Kinesio Taping with a highly elastic cloth base to which a pressure sensitive adhesive is applied. One side is the cloth side 30 . On the adhesive side (not shown), a backing paper 100 is applied to prevent the patch from curling and to prevent the adhesive from drying out or becoming fouled prior to use. These strips are both longer and wider than conventional roll-up Kinesio Taping. The cloth is preferably a fabric of natural fibers or synthetic fibers having high longitudinal elasticity. The adhesive is preferably a pressure sensitive non-latex adhesive (eg, polyacrylic adhesive).
[0025] The strap has a first end 30 and a second end 40 . Each end has a preferably scalloped pattern (with protrusions 50 separated by slots 60, such as figure 1 shown). This form of strip can be considered to have end regions 80 , 90 and a central region 70 .
